Therapeutic Focus

Alexa works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families.


Alexa has experience working with relational issues, divorce/separation, attachment, those who identify as LGBTQ+, mood disorders, those who have been involved in foster care and/or child protection, identity development, grief and trauma, and issues related to school and higher education. Alexa has special interests in gender identity exploration and working with couples.

Therapeutic Philosophy

Alexa believes in an approach that is strengths-based, open, authentic, and non-judgmental. She is accepting of all definitions of relationship, family, and self including those who are gender-variant, queer, and polyamorous. Alexa practices from an attachment-based, multicultural, experiential, and systemic perspective.


Alexa started as an intern at The Jonas Center in 2016 and joined the team as a Psychotherapist after graduating with her MA.
