Therapeutic Focus

Individuals, couples and families who have concerns around life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, behavioral issues, and chronic physical and mental illness. Specializing in working with children and adolescents who have a history of trauma.


Individual, couple, and family therapy using a collaborative approach of family systems, cognitive-behavioral, sand tray, trans-generational, solution-focused, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and other strength based theories.

Certified Prepare/Enrich Assessor for premarital and marital counseling.

Synnove believes that relationships can impact who we are and what we do throughout our lives. She is passionate about reconnecting and strengthening relationships for individuals, couples, and families that will provide support and understanding. She values working with clients and believes that they are the experts and decision makers of their own lives, on the path of healing and peace.


Synnove (Nova) began her career in 2009 interning at Range Mental Health Center in Virginia, MN for her bachelor’s degree in psychology (2010). She has experience working with children and adolescents through school and group settings. She expanded her experience at Lutheran Social Service Resource Center assisting children and families during difficult life transitions. Nova received her Master’s Degree in May 2014.
