Diane has experience working alongside individuals and families. She brings a unique blend of deep-rooted life experience and specialized clinical training when seeing children, individuals, and families.

Having spent decades navigating the complexities of human relationships, she offers a perspective that is both practical and deeply empathetic—integrating her extensive life experience with the systemic rigor of graduate school.

Philosophy

Diane’s career has been built on the belief that meaningful change happens through collaboration, and she views the therapeutic process as a partnership where the client’s story is always the guide.

History

Diane brings 35 years of experience being a social worker for families and adults,  and supporting at risk youth in families and school settings. She is a Certified Forest Therapy guide, a practice that informs her belief in the restorative power of nature. She loves spending quality time with her husband and adult daughter, hiking through Minnesota’s State Parks, or relaxing with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Diane joined The Jonas Center in 2026.
