Therapeutic Focus

Kalley has experience working with children, teens and adults.

Competencies

Kalley uses a systems thinking approach to therapy – guiding clients to view and reflect on their individual, unique life systems. In this journey, she guides individuals in mindfulness, narrative therapy, creativity, self-awareness, self-compassion, cognitive-behavioral techniques and experiential family therapy. She is highly interested in implementing the use of art therapy and play therapy techniques and looks forward to continuing growth in her own humanity and practice.

Therapeutic Philosophy

Kalley values an engaging, collaborative relationship with her clients where she practices active listening and connecting. She believes that therapy is a journey in which she is the guide; her role is to care for and walk alongside each person on this journey. Kalley strives to create a safe space for clients to explore, to be vulnerable, and to connect with themselves.

History

Kalley joined The Jonas Center in March 2023 and is supervised by Christine Paulson.
