Michael has taken courses and is familiar with individual, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapies, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, Social Skills and Mindfulness practices.
Therapeutic Philosophy
Michael believes in a strengths-based approach that is client centered and encourages an open and positive working relationship. He practices from a systems perspective.
History
Michael began his social work career as an intern at The Human Services Center Psychiatric Hospital in 2017. He has also interned in a school setting. Michael began seeing clients at The Jonas Center as a Supervised Psychotherapist after graduating with his MSW in August, 2018.
